All heros on the roster have win-rates between 45% and 55%, and we aren’t planning to make change of balance in the near future based on what we saw. While some heroes are performing better than others, and there are differences in player skill levels, we were delighted to see no the number of heros that are totally out of line with the goal. We wish to look back at the first week of this new chapter for Overwatch and share with you the current thoughts of our teams on hero balance and gameplay. We saw the loss of Sojourn, Junker Queen, and Kiriko rock the entire game’s landscape, blasting and slicing their way into many victories on the battlefield.
While we have most of our updates now focused on our efforts to solve the game-server and the stability issues, we also know that players are eagerly seeking out what we’re working on for the game and other topics.
After the introduction of Overwatch two, millions of new and returning heroes have been welcomed to the game.
